This book is garbage. I’ve been fish keeping for 15 years and I just wanted a simple book I can use to show my kids etc, or look something up.First, this does not look like a quality print. It looks like a cheap printout from a little heard of U.K. publisher.The first species page (livebearers - platy) has a picture of a platy that very clearly has ich, probably internal parasites, and clamped fins. Why use such a crappy picture of a sick fish in a reference guide? The first word on the page is a misspelling - “palties”. Expert fish keeping author can’t spell a common species on the first page??? Come on.Species descriptions are extremely basic, and read like they were copy/pasted from a site like liveaquaria. For some reason Plecos are referred to as “plecs”. Multiple other spelling mistakes. Some pictures are ok, others are really low res and grainy.Feels like a child’s school project. I was disappointed with this book, I found several grammatical errors as well as a couple technical errors. This book appears to be written for the European audience. I would not recommend this book.
